Family members found dead in apparent murder-suicide at northwest Houston hotel

A man and a woman believed to be related were found dead in what Houston police are calling an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday afternoon at an extended stay hotel in northwest Houston.

The discovery was made just after 12:25 p.m. at the InTown Suites located in the 8700 block of FM 1960, according to HPD.

When officers arrived, they found both individuals with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD hasn’t released the nature of the family relationship or what may have led up to the shooting. Homicide detectives are still working to piece together what happened.
