Person flown to hospital by helicopter after shooting at SW Harris County apartment complex

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A person has been flown to a hospital by helicopter after being shot at an apartment complex Monday.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at 15250 Gray Ridge Drive, near the Mission Bend area.
The victim was flown to a hospital in serious condition.
The suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
Authorities says it appears the suspect used a rifle in the shooting.
