Cyclist hit, killed on Eastex Freeway frontage road

A man hit and killed a cyclist on the frontage road of the Eastex Freeway.

It happened on the Eastex Freeway near the Lauder exit at about 2 a.m. Sunday.

The cyclist died at the scene.

The driver stopped and was cooperating with the investigation.

The cyclist’s identity had not been released.
