Man surrenders peacefully after SWAT responds to NW Harris County home

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says a barricaded man has surrendered peacefully after SWAT responded to a home in northwest Harris County.

The sheriff’s office said it started as a weapons disturbance in the 10600 block of Lyndon Meadows Drive, near Queenston Blvd.

Details on what led up to the situation is unclear right now, but the sheriff’s office says the man came out and surrendered.

In addition to the incident Wednesday, the man also had three active warrants, according to the sheriff’s office.
