Do you recognize him? Woman injured trying to stop man from stealing tires in Houston’s Second Ward

HOUSTON, Texas Houston police are looking for help identifying a man who was involved in a robbery that resulted in a woman getting hurt in Houston’s Second Ward.

It happened last year on Nov.18 around about 12:50 p.m., in the 3500 block of Engelke in Houston.

What happened?

Houston police say a woman saw a man taking tires from her property and putting them on a large orange cart.

When she told him he couldn’t take the tires and needed to leave, the man pushed her to the ground, causing her to cut her wrist and hurt her elbow.

The man then ran off on foot.

He is described as a Hispanic man, around 35 to 45 years old, about 5′8″ to 5′9″ tall, and weighing between 180 and 185 pounds. He was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, and light-colored shorts, and had black hair and brown eyes.
