Sketch released of gunman accused of killing man who confronted him for breaking into cars in Midtown

HOUSTON – Authorities have released a sketch of the man they believe was responsible for killing 21-year-old Julian Comeaux last month.

The murder happened on Feb. 16, at the intersection of Bagby and Hadley.

According to the Houston Police Department, Comeaux and his friends confronted a man who was trying to break into one of their cars. A fight ensued, and the suspect fired shots, killing Comeaux and injuring another person before running from the scene. The shooter is described as having dreadlocks with yellow and gold tips.

Julian, who was affectionately known as the ‘bean’ was set to enlist in the Navy and follow in his mother’s footsteps in military service.
