Man found dead after being shot in E Houston motel room

A man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in a motel room in east Houston.
The shooting took place at a motel in the 1000 block of Freeport Street in the Cloverleaf area and was reported by Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez Sunday afternoon.
The people involved reportedly left the scene.
