HOUSTON – Authorities are piecing together what led up to a man’s death Monday night in north Houston after he recently moved to the city.

Police said the man, believed to be in his 20s, recently moved from Louisiana to Houston just two days ago, so it’s unclear why he was shot to death. There is also conflicting information about his killer, as investigators aren’t sure if he ran away from the scene or took off in a car.
Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call HPD’s Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
