Possible homeless man found dead in Katy area and likely storm-related
First possible weather-related death reported
Crime Scene Tape (KPRC2/Click2Houston.com)KATY, Texas – A man believed to be homeless was found dead Tuesday in a restaurant parking lot, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The discovery was made in the 300 block of South Fry Road in Katy.
Authorities said the man’s death is suspected to be weather-related.

If confirmed, this would mark the first weather-related fatality during the ongoing winter storm in the Houston area.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released as officials continue their investigation.
