Elderly man with dementia found dead after being reported missing in Houston during snowstorm

Authorities confirmed that the elderly man who was reported missing during the Houston winter storms earlier this week was found dead.

Gary Bishop, 70, had a formal diagnosis of dementia and required medication. He had last been contacted on Jan. 18, and he was seen on Jan. 19 on the 7100 block of Winfree Drive in Houston. He was seen traveling on foot, wearing a gray pullover with blue jeans and black Crocs.

The Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Bishop’s passing, and they are still waiting to confirm and announce his cause of death.
