The Houston Astros have agreed to a salary with starting pitcher Framber Valdez, locking up the lefty for 2025 and avoiding arbitration.
The signing comes just two days after former Astros starting pitcher Justin Verlander signed a 1-year deal with the San Francisco Giants worth $15 million.
