Person hospitalized after being shot at NE Houston bus stop

One person has been hospitalized after being shot at a bus stop in northeast Houston.
The shooting was reported at around 7 p.m. Christmas Day. Officials with Harris County Sheriff’s Office and first responders arrived at the scene and found the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. At the time of this writing, the latest reports indicate that they are still alive.
Metro Police Department officials were able to confirm that the shooting took place at the bus stop.
We do not have information on the victim’s identity—or the circumstances that led up to the shooting—at this time.
