Hail spotted in Cypress area during Christmas Eve severe storms

CYPRESS, Texas – Severe weather is sweeping through the Houston area this Christmas Eve, with the Cypress area experiencing intense golf-ball-sized hail.
A tornado warning was issued for the region on Tuesday afternoon, and isolated strong storms are expected to continue through the night.
KPRC 2 viewers have shared videos and photos of the hailstorm on Click2Pins .
Strong and gusty winds are expected throughout the night into Christmas morning. The line of storms, which will mostly be overnight, may possibly bring some strong wind gusts, lightning and heavy rain.
Users on X have also shared wild images and videos from Cypress.
Overnight, other people submitted images of hail from later storms.
Things are expected to clear out by Christmas morning.
