2nd suspect arrested in investigation into West Gulf Bank sexual assaults

A second suspect appears to have been arrested in connection with a spree of violent sexual assaults in Houston’s northside.

Friday night, Houston Police Department announced on X that an arrest had been made in the investigation into at least five attacks in the West Gulf Bank area.

The suspect, identified as Jayden Jercoyus Demouchet, is charged with burglary of a habitation.

The arrest comes just days after 29-year-old Denzeill Sneed was arrested after being linked to two of the five reported attacks.

Although the five assaults were originally investigated as a search for a single serial predator, HPD officials announced that a search was underway for a second perpetrator after Sneed was taken into custody.
