James Pesina (Harris County Pct. 1 Constable's Office)
HOUSTON – A 38-year-old man from Bryan has been arrested, accused of communicating with an undercover officer who was posing as a teenage girl and soliciting the decoy for sex.
James Pesina is charged with online solicitation of a minor. He was arrested in Bryan and extradited to Houston for the Harris County warrant. His bond is set at $100,000.
According to the Harris County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office, the arrest is the result of a four-month-long investigation. The constable’s office says Pesina was communicating online on an undisclosed social media app with an undercover officer who was posing as a teenage girl.
“Pesina initiated contact with whom he believed to be a minor, communicated in a sexually explicit manner, sent sexually explicit images and videos, and then made plans to travel to Houston to pick up the minor and take her to a hotel to engage in sex acts,” the constable’s office said.
The constable’s office also said Pesina is married and has two young children.
