Woman charged after man stabbed multiple times in middle of night at northwest Houston home

HOUSTON – A woman is facing charges after being accused of stabbing a man multiple times at a home in northwest Houston.

Maribel Soto, 30, has been charged with aggravated assault of a family member from with Oct. 5 incident.

The stabbing was reported around 5:25 a.m. in the 9400 block of Kerrwood Drive.

Police said officers found the 35-year-old man suffering from several stab wounds and was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

A search warrant was executed at the residence and investigators identified the suspect as Soto. She was arrested and charged for her role in the incident.

Soto was booked into the Harris County Jail.
