Armed man trying to force his way into ex’s home shot, killed in NW Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says an armed man who tried to force his way into his ex-girlfriend or wife’s home was shot and killed Tuesday.
Authorities said it happened in the 9500 block of Willow Lodge Court, near Jersey Village.
The man, allegedly armed with a gun, showed up to the home and tried to get inside. He was then shot.
The sheriff’s office says he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The alleged shooter remained at the scene.
