Tuesday night, Houstonians were gifted to some lovely views, as a Harvest Moon partial lunar eclipse took place in the night skies.
According to KPRC 2 meteorologist Caroline Brown, the full moon in Sept. is referred to as a “Corn Moon,” and the full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox (September 22 this year) is called the “Harvest Moon.”
