HOUSTON – A student at Bellaire High School was removed from campus after a gun was reportedly found on Tuesday, according to Houston Independent School District.
Bellaire HS principal Michael Niggli sent out a letter to parents about the firearm being found, ensuring that no one was injured during this incident.
The student reportedly who had the weapon on campus was detained by Houston ISD police.
“Please know that we take these situations very seriously, as the safety of our students and staff is always our absolute top priority,” Niggli stated in the letter.
