1-year-old girl dies after being found unresponsive in bathtub at NE Harris County home, law enforcement investigating

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Law enforcement is investigating after a 1-year-old girl died Saturday night at a home in northeast Harris County.
The incident happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a home in the 7500 block of Welsh Stone Lane. When they arrived, they found a 1-year-old girl who was unresponsive in a bathtub. CPR was administered and the child was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities did not provide any other details about the incident, but said the investigation continues.
