3 hospitalized, 2 missing after boat crashes into Galveston North Jetty
Boat crash on Galveston Jetties (USCG Heartland)
GALVESTON, Texas – Three people were taken to a hospital and two people are missing after a boat crashed into the Galveston North Jetty overnight.
The U.S. Coast Guard said five people were aboard the boat when it crashed into the jetties. The Coast Guard said Saturday the boat struck the North Jetty.
Three people were transported to the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospital.
Coast Guard members searched overnight for the two missing people and continue to search Saturday.
