Pedestrian fatally struck on Grand Parkway near SH-249

A pedestrian was struck and killed early this morning on the Grand Parkway near SH-249.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies reported that the individual was walking on the parkway when they were struck around 1:30 a.m.

Details about the crash are still emerging, and authorities are investigating to uncover more information. It remains unclear why the person was on the road at that time. There is also no word yet on whether the driver involved stayed at the scene.
