Northbound HOV lanes on Highway 288 shutdown after deadly crash near Airport Blvd. in southern part of Houston

HOUSTON – A deadly crash has shutdown the northbound HOV lanes of Highway 288 in the southern part of Houston.
The Houston Police Department shared a photo of the scene, which shows emergency crews responding and blocking the lanes.
The crash happened near Airport Blvd.
According to Lt. Larry Crowson with HPD, the crash involved two vehicles. Crowson said a pickup truck struck a maintenance truck.
All HOV traffic is being diverted in Pearland.
