Ground stop issued at Houston’s Hobby, Bush airports as heavy storms continue to move across the area

HOUSTON – A ground stop has been issued at both George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport Wednesday afternoon due to the tropical storms in the area.

The Ground Stop at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is slated from 3:45 p.m. through 5:00 p.m.

The Ground Stop at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is slated from 4:18 p.m. through 5:30 p.m.

It is unclear if this Ground Stop will be lifted today. Check back for updates.
