Man wanted for sexual assault against child arrested in Austin Co.
31-year-old Clarence Cloud (Austin County Sheriff)
A fugitive who was wanted for sexual crimes against a child has been arrested in Austin County.
Clarence Cloud, 31, was the subject of an operation conducted in the early morning hours of June 14. He was wanted in Harris County on a felony arrest warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Special response forces with the Austin County Sheriff’s Office—which included a new canine named Knox—located and arrested Cloud at a residence in New Ulm, Texas. He was transported to Austin County Jail and booked without further incident.
