2nd fugitive arrested on murder charge in Splendora
Juan Jose Valero Cruz (Splendora PD)
A second arrest has been made in an international murder investigation that has centered around the Splendora area.
Juan Jose Valero Cruz was taken into police custody in Splendora on June 7 without incident. He was transferred into federal custody on murder charges in Mexico. He was also in the United States illegally and will be deported for the third time.
The news of Cruz’s arrest comes two weeks after another international murder suspect, Leo Acosta Sanchez, was also arrested in Splendora.
