A crash on the Southwest Freeway at the West Loop has left at least one person dead.
The wreck happened at 5:43 a.m., and led to a complete roadway closure that has since been reopened. The status of those involved is currently unavailable.

Initial reports indicate that one vehicle is involved, but it is unclear whether it was an auto vs. pedestrian incident or just a single-vehicle accident.
