HOUSTON – A suspect has been taken to the hospital after being shot by a Houston police officer Thursday evening.
HPD said the incident happened in the 600 block of E. Tidwell Road.

Police say the suspect was injured, but was alive and talking when he was transported to the hospital.

No officers were injured, according to HPD.
