Lightning strikes tree, causing it to fall into garage and sparking fire in NW Harris County
First responder at scene of house fire after tree falls (Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office)
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities responded to the scene of a fire in northwest Harris County.
The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office said deputies responded to assist the Northwest Fire Department after lightning struck a tree, causing it to fall into the home’s garage.
The first responders went to the home in the 11500 block of Pinole Lane Court.
The constable’s office says no injuries were reported.
The Northwest Volunteer Fire Department said units arrived at the scene and found the attached garage fully engulfed in flames. It was quickly extinguished.
