It happened around 1:30 a.m. when deputies tried to pull over an unidentified driver of a Dodge Charger for a traffic violation, however, they kept on driving.
A brief chase ensued but the driver crashed into a structure, causing them to go airborne before landing in a gas station parking lot on Little York & WIllie St. in northeast Harris County. And while their vehicle suffered some serious damage, the driver did not hit any other vehicles.
We’re told the driver was taken to the hospital to have their injuries examined, but during the investigation, officers found drugs in the car as well and the driver was wanted on felony charges in Michigan.
It’s unclear what those charges involved, but an investigation remains underway, where the driver may face additional charges.
