POWER OUTAGES: CenterPoint reporting more than 20,000 outages after heavy rain hits Houston area

HOUSTON – Some power outages have been reported following heavy rain in the Houston area.

A total of 25,883 customers were without power Friday morning as of 9:00 a.m.
