Meteor seen on video falling just south of Galveston đ âď¸
GALVESTON, Texas â Talk about a sight for sore eyes! Cameras caught a quick glimpse of a large meteor falling south of Galveston .
Video shared by Saltwater-Recon.com via Twitter shows two different angles of the greenish-blue fireball.
Interestingly, Meteorologist Anthony Yanez says meteors falling arenât as rare as we might think. In fact, just last week there were more than 150 reports of fireball activity across the U.S.
And while it might be too late to make a wish, or whatever it is folks do when they see a falling rock, we can still enjoy re-watching the footage and be in awe of the galaxyâs wonders.
