NOT BUST-ED YET: Restaurant statue thief remains at large

LIVINGSTON, Texas – The Livingston Police Department is investigating the theft of a statue from a local restaurant.

The crime occurred at around 8:35 p.m. on Tuesday night at Joe’s Italian Restuarant in Livingston. In the surveillance footage, a couple can be seen sitting across from each other when the man reaches for the statue and pulls it away from the wall. The couple continues to converse and eat while the statue sits near the man, until he covers it with a jacket and heads for the door.

Gjoka Ilir Joe, the owner of the restaurant, posted images of the couple on Facebook, asking anyone with information to reach out.
