Authorities search for missing 84-year-old woman who left SE Houston home

HOUSTON – Authorities and family members are searching for an 84-year-old woman who they say left her southeast Houston home early Thursday.

Family members and police say Mary Louise Johnson left her home in the 8300 block of Constellation Lane early Thursday morning sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. It is unknown which direction of travel she went.

Her family said she was last seen wearing a red gown and red socks.

Authorities say Johnson has been diagnosed with dementia.
