The final vote was 214-213.

The U.S. Senate will now have to vote on the impeachment.

According to NBC News, senators will most likely vote to acquit Mayorkas since the Democratic Party controls the upper chamber. Senators are expected to meet again on Feb. 26.

On Saturday, Green also spoke about the Israel-Hamas war.

Israel officials said they plan to continue into the town of Rafah, but they first plan to evacuate 1.4 million Palestinian civilians in this area, which is near Egypt.
