Man arrested following HPD chase after being accused of pulling knife, gun on victim in SE Houston

HOUSTON – A man is now in police custody after authorities said he pulled a knife and gun on someone Friday afternoon before leading officers on a chase through the city.

According to Houston police, they received a disturbance with a weapon call from a home in the 9120 block of Cullen Boulevard around 10:40 a.m.

The caller told police that the man had a weapon.

When officers caught up with the suspect, he reportedly led police on a chase that lasted about 20 minutes.

He then allegedly jumped out of the car before police took him into custody at Higgins Street and Noel.

It is unclear the relationship between the suspect and the victim at this time.
