Body found on roadway after hit-and-run in north Houston

HOUSTON, Texas – A body was found in the middle of a roadway after being hit by a vehicle in north Houston Tuesday night.

According to police, a woman was driving in the 320 block of Parker Road around 11:04 p.m. The woman said she originally thought there was trash in the middle of the road but later realized it was a person.

She called 911, and when units arrived, they located an adult male deceased on the roadway.

The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is now investigating.

Police have not yet identified the victim.
