Deadly crash shuts down road in north Harris Co.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A person has been pronounced dead after a crash in north Harris County Tuesday morning.

The crash took place in the 22400 block of Aldine Westfield Road near Hirschfield Road.

According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, Aldine Westfield Road is currently shut down.

Vehicles are being redirected towards Treashwig Road.

Deputies are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.

Investigators have not yet said what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved.
