BALTIMORE – The Houston Texans wrapped up a historic season after taking on the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round Saturday.

1st Quarter
Penalties, a false start on offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, another false start on guard Shaq Mason and a correct intentional grounding call, derailed a promising drive for the Texans.
The Texans fell behind 3-0 on a 53-yard field goal from Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, one of the best kickers in league history.
The Texans have been inconsistent on offense. They’ve contained Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson, especially with the active, instinctive play of linebacker Christian Harris.
It’s primarily been a defensive battle so far early in the game.
The Texans tied the game at 3-3 with a 50-yard field goal from kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn.
Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 7 of 13 passes for 82 yards.
2nd Quarter
It has been an extremely competitive football game so far.
The Texans and Ravens are tied at 10 at halftime after Travis graduate Steven Sims Jr. delivered an electrifying 67-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter.
Promoted from the practice squad earlier this week when Noah Brown was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, Sims made the most of his opportunity.
Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn missed just his second field goal of the season. He’s 27 of 29 after misfiring from 47 yards out wide right.
Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has completed 11 of 20 passes for 131 yards, including four receptions for 58 yards.
The Texans’ running game has been nonexistent with seven runs for 15 yards.
Devin Singletary, held to eight yards on six carries, has four receptions for 41 yards on five targets.
Raven star quarterback Lamar Jackson has completed 7 of 11 passes for 52 yards, but has rushed for 50 yards on six carries as the Ravens have rushed for 83 yards on 16 carries.
He’s been sacked three times.
The Texans have been penalized eight times for 50 yards and the Ravens have been flagged once for five yards.
3rd Quarter
The Texans have fallen behind to the Baltimore Ravens, trailing 17-10 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Texans have committed multiple costly penalties. They have nine penalties, compared to the Ravens’ two infractions.
The Texans’ defense has struggled to contain elusive Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has rushed for 68 yards on eight carries with a go-ahead 15-yard touchdown run.
The Texans have allowed 113 rushing yards on 19 carries, an average of 5.9 yards per run.
Jackson has completed 10 of 15 passes for 89 yards, beating the blitz most of the time. He has been sacked three times.
