Human skull believed to have been found in woods behind motel in west Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Homicide investigators have located what they said appears to be a human skull in Harris County.

According to a post on X by Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the skull was found in a wooded area in the 100 block of Baker by the Katy Freeway and Barker Cypress on Tuesday.
The wooded area also happens to be behind a motel.
Gonzalez stated that there were no additional details from the scene.
The HCSO CSI and Homicide Team are investigating.
