HOUSTON – As Houston braces for a significant drop in temperatures this week, the Houston Millennials organization is teaming up with Exclusive Furniture to launch a helpful community initiative.
According to a news release, ‘IT’S COLD: Warm Coat & Blanket Drive For The Homeless’ is a collaborative effort that aims to mobilize the community by providing warmth to those in need during the frigid weather conditions.
The giveaway is happening at 5 p.m. at the Houston Public Library located at 5500 Mckinney St.
Five-hundred coats donated from the community will be distributed directly to the homeless.
Those also looking to give away a coat are urged to bring coats to the event.
