12-year-old at center of San Antonio Amber Alert found safe

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – An Amber Alert has been discontinued after a 12-year-old boy who was believed to have been abducted in San Antonio was found safe Monday.

The San Antonio Police Department thanked the public for their help in locating Linkin Hernadez. Officers said they do not expect any arrests to be made in this case.

According to the alert, Linkin was last seen on Sunday, Jan. 7 in the 8500 block of Timber Wolf Drive.

He was said to have been wearing a gray sweater, blue shirt, and black sweatpants with white shoes.

The child may have been in a black sedan with unknown license plates at the time of his disappearance.
