Man hospitalized with gunshot wound after shooting on East Freeway

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man has been taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound after a shooting in east Harris County .
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the 13800 block of the East Freeway.
They said a man had a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
The sheriff’s office said the vehicle the wounded person was in along with another vehicle had major damage.
It’s unknown if both parties were involved in a road rage or a rolling disturbance type of incident.
The sheriff’s office said the other party fled the scene in a third vehicle.
