HOUSTON – The identity of a woman who was found dead in a heavily wooded area in east Harris County has been released, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The discovery was made on Dec. 7 at around 5 p.m. in the 17600 block of Youpon Street.
Deputies said they met with a person who found the body of a woman, now identified as 42-year-old Jessica Stabler, just off the roadway.
The cause of death was determined to be homicide, according to the Institute of Forensic Science.
