Man dies at east Houston warehouse after machinery he was inside cleaning turns on

HOUSTON – Houston police said a man died Saturday after the machinery he was inside cleaning at a warehouse turned on.

According to police, they were called just before 11 a.m. to the Chemtrusion facility located off Clinton Drive in east Houston.

Investigators said the man, who was in his thirties, was working on cleaning machinery inside the warehouse when somehow the machinery he was inside cleaning turned on.

Authorities are investigating the incident. OSHA will also investigate the situation as well as the safety of the machinery.
