Ground stops issued at IAH, Hobby airports due to afternoon thunderstorms

HOUSTON – A ground stop has been at Bush Intercontinental Airport and Hobby Airport Monday afternoon due to thunderstorms in the Houston area.

The ground stop is set to last at Hobby until 4 p.m. and at IAH until 4:45 p.m. Both ground stops may be extended due to weather.
