How Houston-area representatives voted during Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s impeachment hearing

The Texas House of Representatives voted 121-23 to impeach state Attorney General Ken Paxton Saturday.

The impeachment triggers Paxton’s immediate removal from office until the Senate can conduct a trial. Texas Governor Greg Abbott will appoint an interim attorney general until the outcome of the Senate trial.
