3 drums of hazardous compound illegally dumped in Fort Bend Co., officials say

Officials with the Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office say teams were deployed Friday after three 55-gallon drums were illegally dumped.

According to FBCFMO, Fort Bend County Hazmat Response Team along with the Pleak Fire Department responded to the scene and worked to determine the contents of the compound exactly.

Investigators say the compound appeared to be a hazardous material that is typically used in truck bed liners.
