Walmart employee arrested, admits to stealing $20,000 in cash from registers, PCT. 4 says

Elisha Minter was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Felony Theft. Her bond was set at $1,000.00 out of the 351st District Court (Pct 4)

SPRING, Texas – A Walmart employee has been arrested and charged after deputies said she stole thousands of dollars in cash from a Spring store’s register.

Elisha Minter has since been charged with felony theft. She is currently being held in the Harris County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

On Jan. 14, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a theft call at the Walmart located in the 24800 block of Aldine Westfield Road.

Deputies said Minter was accused of pocketing cash from the registers and stealing over $11,000 over the past nine days.

Additionally, authorities say Minter later admitted to stealing from the registers at least three times a week, totaling $20,000 since November 2022.
