Officers said the man and a woman were ordering food at a taco truck when two suspects in a red-colored pickup truck pulled up and began firing at them with what appeared to be a rifle.

That pickup truck fled the scene.

The two were taken to an area hospital where police said they are expected to live.

Approximately 12 rifle casings were recovered at the scene by investigators.

Police said the man that was hit told them he may possibly know the two suspects that shot him and the woman.

An investigation is still ongoing.
